He said that he wanted to focus more on his personal life and his own business ventures.
Following his departure, many fans were concerned that the show would not be the same without Randy’s larger-than-life personality. Even though he is an independent consultant now, his inspiring personality and impeccable fashion taste continue to win the hearts of many brides who are looking to say yes to the dress.
Why is Randy not in Kleinfeld’s?
Randy Fenoli, a well-known fashion designer, television presenter, and former Fashion Director of Kleinfeld Bridal, has been an integral part of the bridal fashion industry for more than two decades.
And while Fenoli clearly has a knack for selecting the winning outfit, it's because he's perfected this skill over the years. In addition, she wants more time for her personal life, as the filming schedule of the reality show can be very demanding.
Lori, however, has left the door open for a possible future return to “Say Yes to the Dress” if it ever aligns with her business and personal life.
“We sat down and talked for four hours straight.”
By the second date—Valentine's Day—they were already discussing marriage and Kopal was spending one-on-one time with Fenoli's beloved mother in Florida. Now, he will be planning for his own.
The TV personality proposed to his boyfriend Mete Kobal on Saturday at New York City's Marmara Park Avenue hotel.
Photographed in front of lots of lavish florals, Fenoli is seen down on one knee while both he and Kobal are dressed in velvet tuxedo jackets.
"It wasn't a dress, but @metekobal did say yes to @randyfenoli.
You can see the relaxation and happiness, and the confidence. Randy’s skill and artistry as a fashion designer have contributed significantly to the show’s success, and his talent has earned him a tremendous following.
However, there is some confusion surrounding Randy’s current work status with Kleinfeld. However, after the footage was reviewed, the executives from Kleinfeld were not happy with the way their dresses were featured in the segment, and they claimed that Bartiromo had not asked for their permission to try on the dresses.
As a result, Kleinfeld Bridal decided to terminate her access to the store.
She really loved him so much, and was just so happy that you two are together.' So that was nice to hear, after her passing.”
That following December, Fenoli proposed in a beautifully orchestrated surprise with 50 guests in attendance, complete with flowers, food, music … essentially, a wedding. Because I know [even with] all of that stress and pressure, they're going to walk away feeling beautiful and confident.
Randy shared a picture of him and Mete holding hands while showcasing the engagement ring, with the caption “I SAID YES” followed by the hashtag #married.
Randy revealed that he had met Mete 10 years before they got engaged, and the couple had been in a long-distance relationship for several years. Mete is a New York-based stylist and the owner of a hair salon, and the couple often travels the world together, taking on new adventures.
Randy Fenoli also revealed that he had designed the engagement ring with the help of an expert jeweler friend.
“But it was just so cute. The incident that led to her dismissal occurred in 2007, when the journalist was filming a segment for her show “The Wall Street Journal Report” at the bridal salon located in Manhattan.
During the shooting, Maria Bartiromo was given permission to try on some wedding gowns from the showroom by a Kleinfeld employee.
I was like, 'Honestly I have my career, I have my home, I have my dog, I have my mom,' and I'm like, 'I'm just going to be single the rest of my life.' And then I met Mete."
The now-engaged couple initially met in January where Kobal was working as a restaurant and bar manager.
