Hawaii gay film

a seductive movie. The actors were merely looking at each other, viewers could not imagine to what they were thinking or trying to portray and for which that scene was? The direction is amazing. I can somewhat relate to the story, if not the film was made in Argentina, I would say that, it's a copycat of my own life story. "Hawaii" does that every bit as effectively as "Plan B." It is an additional measure of quality (and a great treat) that a film have more to say to an audience on a second, third or fourth viewing.

The work of the actors is a pleasure to the senses. A power and desire game starts and their relationship grows beyond their friendship.

    Very Enjoyable Film

I watched this movie last night and really enjoyed it.

The film then sedately turns into a love story. for the tension who has not only sexual level. a film about other as part of your definition. for the definition of friendship who explores the nuances more than significance. Be sure to catch them all. Argentinian cinema has many special films but this case seems be real special.

A very intimate and personal film.No gay clichés here. remarkable for its delicacy and touching nuances. for its details . Manuel Vignau and Mateo Chiarino are really worth following. or, maybe, only a delicate picture from a summer.

    6/10

Looks like someone's fantasy made it to production!

    Not much happening here.

The wealthy Eugenio, who is gay, takes a liking to the attractive Martin and eventually provides him with clothes and a place to stay. a film who is not bad to see. The two leads are attractive and enjoyable to watch, and the acting was wonderful - the unspoken attraction was very evident on their faces - and the slow build up rather than just one pouncing on the other immediately was a refreshing change.

The film's quiet scenes to me were actually a great metaphor for the unspoken attraction....how often do we find ourselves attracted to someone and longing to tell them, but remaining silent and just 'observing' them from a distance?

There were so many parts that are strange and made me kinda cringe. In both that film and "Hawaii" Mr. Berger has done some of the finest modern story-telling I've had the pleasure to experience.

These are definitely NOT American films - they are slow to develop, sparse on dialogue and largely visual in nature.
