All pizzas here start with the essentials: aged mozzarella, Grana Padano, pecorino, and red sauce before getting zhuzhed up with toppings like spicy honey, Calabrese salami, or Scalia anchovy.

Speed-O Cappuccino

Flipping the script on the classic "bikini barista" format, this cheeky Barbie-pink espresso stand and vegan food cart founded by sex workers Dahlia Hanson and Joseph Miller employs a staff of queer sex workers, or as they put it, "thembos and flirts." Besides coffee drinks, you can expect to find vegan versions of Crunchwraps and deep-fried Oreos.

Quirky neighborhoods like the Pearl District, Hawthorne, and Alberta Arts District pulse with a palpable energy, reflecting the city's progressive mindset. With its stunning natural beauty, the city provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities and exploration.

For those who love the water, the city's waterfront along the Willamette River is transformed during the warmer months into a lively hub with joggers, cyclists, and rollerbladers.
